Maintenance for a short-term rental in Paris 15th

A dead light bulb, a water heater that no longer heats, a leaking toilet: in a main home, you deal with it when you have time. In a short-term rental, the next guest may arrive that very evening.

A check at every changeover

At every clean, the team tests the appliances the guest relies on: hot water, heating, hob and oven, fridge, wifi, lighting, lock. A fault spotted between two stays costs much less than a breakdown discovered by the guest.

Small repairs and tradespeople

  • Light bulbs, batteries, seals, small adjustments: dealt with during the visit when possible
  • Plumbing, electrics, locks, appliances: a tradesperson comes in, with your approval of the quote above the amount you have set
  • Before and after photos, and a report after every job

Common areas and the building

In the 15th, many faults do not come from the flat itself: a lift out of order in a Front de Seine tower, a broken door code, a leak from the flat above in an older building in Grenelle. In these cases, we alert the caretaker or the managing agent, follow the repair, and inform the guests concerned so they do not discover the problem when they arrive with their suitcases.

Getting ready for busy periods

Before a run of stays, for example during Porte de Versailles trade fairs or school holidays, we review what might give way: a tired hob, a weak hairdryer, bedding to replace. If damage is caused by a guest, the process goes through our damage support.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to approve every repair?

You set an amount below which we can act straight away. Above it, we send you the quote before any work starts.

What happens if something breaks during a stay?

The guest contacts us, we look for a quick fix and call in a tradesperson if needed. You are kept informed.

Do you deal with faults in the common areas?

We alert the caretaker or managing agent and follow the repair, but the decision and the works belong to the building’s co-owners.
